Actress Gemma Atkinson, 22, says her previous boyfriends expected to dress up in skimpy outfits for showbiz parties, but Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is like a breath of fresh air.
‘I love a bloke who I can be myself with,’ she declares to British tabloids.
‘I can sit on the sofa in my pyjamas, with no make-up on, eating chips and Cristiano doesn’t mind.’
Ronaldo has told his Man United team-mates that his relationship with Gemma Atkinson isn’t serious.
The footballer admitted that he liked all of the 22-year-old’s Hollyoaks co-stars and claimed that the romance is only “casual”.
A friend told The Sun: “Ronaldo insisted to team-mates he was a single man and things were casual with Gemma. He claimed he wasn’t settled on one Hollyoaks actress – he liked them all.”
Atkinson’s manager has insisted that the pair are still together.
