Manchester United booked their ticket to Wembley for the FA Cup final after beating Watford 4-1 in the semis at Villa Park.

Wayne Rooney scored as early as 7th minute; the fans must have thought that it would be an easy win for United, but it was a rather dramatic first half for the devils.

Edwin Van der Sar had to receive treatment for a bang on his nose; and not long after his treatment United conceded a goal to Watford on 26th minute.

Cristiano Ronaldo took back the lead just a couple of minutes later, thanks to the wonderful work from Wayne Rooney.

Then came the blow for United… Rio Ferdinand was injured and had to be substituted on 40th minute. Already losing Gary Neville and Nemanja Vidic, it’s not a good time for United to lose another key defender.

The fact that Darren Fletcher had to play on right back didn’t sound promising for United remainder of the season, but they managed to hang on to this game.

Wayne Rooney bagged his second goal on 66th minute; and Kieran Richardson scored late 82nd minute to seal the game.

Ronaldo played pretty well, but this game was about Wayne Rooney really; he showed that he could still be on par with Ronaldo as one of world’s best.
