Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele admitted that Cristiano Ronaldo has done well, but insisted that he still rated Didier Drogba’s efforts this season higher than the United winger’s.
“It is true that Cristiano Ronaldo has been doing well this season,” said Makekele.
“But for me Didier Drogba is still the better player, because at the moment Didier can score goals in his sleep.”
The midfielder went on to speak of the consequences of Manchester United’s clash at Liverpool, and believes it could prove to be a key moment of the season.
He honestly admitted that while a United failure could bring Chelsea right back, a win at Liverpool could complicate life for the Blues.
