Cristiano Ronaldo scored a double again, this time against Reading to give Manchester United a 3-2 victory.
This is the 3rd successive game that Ronaldo had found the net twice; he done it at the mid-week match against Wigan, and also on last weekend against Aston Villa.
Ronaldo first provided United’s opening goal, putting in a clean cross for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on 33rd minute.
Reading managed to level the match a few minutes later.
Then came the Ronaldo’s moment at 2nd half… he first scored a rebound on 59th minute; this time Solskjaer the provider with some wonderful combination from Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney.
Reading were unlucky to have Sam Sodje sent off in 70th minute, and Manchester United capitalized on the man-advantage with Ronaldo scoring his 2nd, United’s 3rd from a pin-point cross from Giggs.
Ronaldo was then taken off the field for some deserved rest.
Reading fought hard despite with 10-men, and credits to them for getting another goal late in the game and gave Manchester United some scare in injury time.
A good victory for United, and one young man stood out to be the Man of the Match, and there’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
